Kick Up Your Online Marketing
Chris Jaeger

Kick up your online marketing with these resources...

Business Cards

An inexpensive way to promote your website. Leave these cards everywhere and/or give three or four of them to different vendors you network with. $20.00 for 1000 black and white cards. Wow!

Google Adwords

Pay-per-click and then some! Get great detailed information about how brides are searching and get qualified traffic.

EMAIL Configuration

Make sure you configure your email client (Outlook, Outlook Express) to use your full name - first and last, not company name, as the "From" variable. Many people sort their email by "from" and look for a person's name. People like doing business with people. Use the "Organization" variable for your company name.

There's a pretty good tutorial online at this link: http://www.washington.edu/computing/support/windows/office/outlookconfig.html

Printing Frustration

Have you ever printed a webpage or other document (reports from Google Adword) and not all of the information on the page prints properly? The solution is a little utility called Print Punk. http://www.printpunk.com

Spam Filtering

SPAM is a part of life on the Internet, like it or now. The best solutions I've found is Cloudmark's SpamNet. http://www.cloudmark.com

Spam Stopping

You can stop 99% of SPAM from even reaching your In-Box with a product called Spam Arrest. It doesn't work perfectly, but is pretty effective. http://www.spamarrest.com
